He was the World Marathon Champion. He dominated the sport. Looking out onto the Olympic Stadium in Los Angeles, he knew something was wrong. Something was missing. Winning again didn't matter but changing the way people looked at him did. For almost a thousand days Rick Hansen, and those he trusted with his life, pushed themselves across the world and inspired producers Mark Gordon, David Foster and Michael French to tell that story.
