Yu Na as Maylee Wong

YuNa plays Maylee Wong, a interpreter charged with assisting Rick Hansen in his journey through China.  Like many translators of the period, Maylee is fluent in English but struggles with the nuance of the language.

Well meaning but mindful of the restrictions in dealing with foreigners, YuNa, in her first English speaking film, creates a character who appreciates the historic nature of the journey and her opportunity to influence how the press records those events.
